Christmas isn’t over yet! Got this package just this afternoon from my SIL’s balikbayan mom who was here in the country for a vacation. SIL phoned in about this gift after New Year and she was asking what could she give me. Sweet e! She asked if I wanted shoes. I said I don’t think I won’t be needing any pair this time. She was persistent to know what else could I ever want. Oh! My, she’s always that sweet and generous. Always giving, never failing to send something if she ever had the chance. I am blessed. My mom would be surely proud of her.
Honestly, I wouldn’t want to ask for anything, because, I thought she has given much; canned goods, chocolates for the kids, clothes, money…even if we are not asking. She would always say, “It is okay, they’re gifts for all of you”. Truly, we are blessed for having her.
And, surely, as sweet as SIL, her, daughter, Charisse, sent me this personalized huge card. Oh, sweetest Charisse, your thoughtfulness is heartwarming. She reads my blogs, I am flattered. And, I love the drawing. Was that me?

Stay sweet and smart, little one. I wished and pray that you will continue to be a good girl so that your little sister, Saskia, and little brother, Ashley, will follow in your footsteps. Continue to be an inspiration to them. Love your mom and dad. Always make them proud.
We shall be looking forward to the day when we shall be seeing you all on your vacation.
Aw, I wanna cry. This is a moment when I am missing my mom and dad. I’m such a cry baby when thoughts about family surfaces…
For my sister-in-law, Melissa, thank you’s not enough. May you be blessed with good health so you could continue to be a blessing to everybody. I shall pray that you and my brother will share the love and the passion you both shared now. In love, there’s always respect, trust and forgiveness. I share you those virtues that me and your Kuya Rany have built in our marriage. Differences and arguments will cloud your emotions, it is normal, but, then, never forget what you have both promised to each other, LOVE…Uh-oh, that’s what inside the box…
